Why we started here
Digitalpilotcore grew from a repeated problem in relocation conversations: people were making costly moving decisions before their intended German career had been translated into a credible target. A visa checklist alone could not answer whether a qualification needed recognition, which job title matched prior experience, or whether a chosen city contained the right employers.
From our Stuttgart office, we help career changers build the decision sequence before committing to translations, temporary accommodation or a notice date. Our work combines career-positioning experience, relocation research and careful use of current official German sources.
The people behind the advice
Leonie Hartmann, lead relocation adviser, focuses on occupation research, qualification pathways and arrival sequencing. Her work with internationally mobile professionals has covered regulated and unregulated fields across several German federal states.
Samuel Okoro, career transition adviser, reviews applications and helps clients make transferable experience legible to German employers. He works in English and German and brings first-hand understanding of changing field after an international move.
We do not replace lawyers, tax advisers, recognition authorities or recruiters. Good advice includes knowing when a question belongs with one of them.
How we work
We ask for evidence before offering certainty. That means exact job titles, actual vacancies, the named recognition authority, current official guidance and realistic dates. When a dependency remains outside your control, it stays visible in the plan rather than being disguised as reassurance.
Our values are practical: spend only when the requirement is clear; preserve alternatives until evidence narrows them; and leave every conversation with a manageable next action.
